This skillet cookie is amazingly crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, even better than BJ’s!! Plus, the recipe is super quick to make and doesn’t require an electric mixer!
So, what is a “pizookie”?? A pizookie is a big cookie made in a skillet pan; basically a pizza cookie. Normally, they are eaten with ice cream on top. We would say that pizookies are arguably the BEST form of chocolate chip cookies;)
The first time we ever had a “pizookie” was at BJ’s. After the first bite, we were hooked. The crisp outside and the gooey, chocolate-y insides, mmmm!!!! We just had to recreate this amazing dessert at home!
Our chocolate chip skillet cookie is perfectly crisp around the edges, and chewy on the inside!! We are completely obsessed with this recipe!! Every time we make them, our family devours the whole pan! (If we do say so ourselves, our pizookie is even better than the ones at BJ’s!!)
And not to mention, this is so easy to make!! We loved the BJ’s one so much, but we wanted to master making it in the comfort of our own home! That way we could make it at anytime. You don’t need an electric mixer for this recipe, plus it only takes 10 minutes to prep!
We recommend eating this pizookie straight out of the oven with a big scoop of ice cream on top–it tastes the best this way! We are positive that you will be just as in love with this recipe as we are!!♥
