This dessert is the perfect balance between sweet, cinnamon apple filling and crispy oatmeal crumble. Top it off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
Apple desserts like pies or tarts can be pretty time-consuming, especially when you’re making a homemade crust. With this dessert, it only takes half of the effort, but is still just as yummy (if not better)! Instead of a crust, there is a delicious oatmeal crumble that adds the perfect crunch and sweetness to this dessert. This dessert has all the flavor and spice of an apple pie without the extra work. And nothing beats a warm apple dessert with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top😉
In this recipe, you can use whatever kind of apples you like. We used Gala apples, but you can use any red apple, or even green if you want more of a tart filling. Just core, peel, and dice the apples into around 1/2-inch cubes. Check out our recipe video below!
Apple desserts are an American classic, so this apple crumble would be the perfect recipe to make for Fourth of July coming up! We hope you enjoy this recipe as much as we do.
