Guys we are so, so excited to share this recipe today! This is seriously the best banana bread any of us have ever tried, hands down! This recipe is so flavorful and tasty, and has the perfect texture.
We improved our other banana bread recipe by melting the butter, which makes the bread extra moist! We also added chocolate chips, because chocolate always makes everything better!;)
Tip: Cover the pan with foil after 40 minutes of baking, and then bake for another 20-25 minutes for a total bake time of 60-65 minutes. We use foil to cover the pan to avoid the edges becoming burnt, and it works great!
This recipe is also incredibly easy and doesn’t require many ingredients at all. We even made a recipe video to show you how easy it is to make, watch it below!

- 1 and 1/2 cup (200g) all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick (113g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2/3 cup (135g) packed light or dark brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (250g) mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium bananas)
- 2/3 cup (125g) semisweet chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick spray, set aside.

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and whisk until combined. Add mashed bananas and whisk. Fold in the dry ingredients using a spatula until mostly combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes at 350ºF, then cover with foil and bake for another 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 30 minutes before serving.
