Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick spray, set aside.
In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and whisk until combined. Add mashed bananas and whisk. Fold in the dry ingredients using a spatula until mostly combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes at 350ºF, then cover with foil and bake for another 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 30 minutes before serving.
