The BEST Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

This truly is the best banana bread ever! Super moist and incredibly flavorful, everyone will be sure to love this recipe!

Yields: 12 slices
Ingredients
  • 1 and 1/2 cup (200g) all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 stick (113g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2/3 cup (135g) packed light or dark brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (250g) mashed ripe bananas (about 3 medium bananas)
  • 2/3 cup (125g) semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick spray, set aside.

  2. In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and whisk until combined. Add mashed bananas and whisk. Fold in the dry ingredients using a spatula until mostly combined. Fold in the chocolate chips.

  4. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 40 minutes at 350ºF, then cover with foil and bake for another 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 30 minutes before serving.
