These snickerdoodles are the perfect dessert to make if you are looking for a simple and yummy cookie recipe that everyone will love.

Ingredients
For the cookies:
  • 2 sticks (226g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/3 cup (275g) granulated sugar
  • 2 3/4 cup (350g) all purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
For the cinnamon-sugar:
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
For the cookies:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF.

  2. In a large bowl, beat the butter for 1 minute on medium-high speed. Add the granulated sugar and beat together for 3 minutes on medium-high speed until light and fluffy.

  3. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat on low speed until just combined.

  4. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, cream of tartar, salt, and cinnamon. Add the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture and use a spatula to incorporate them. 

  5. Roll the cookie dough into balls and then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place cookies on a baking sheet and bake at 350ºF for 10-12 minutes.
